Justice, equity, and treating people with dignity have always been important to me, both personally and professionally. My professional experience has included work in rape and domestic violence advocacy, as well as addiction and substance misuse prevention. In my own community, I helped found a local homeless shelter and have volunteered with LGBTQIA+ causes supporting inclusion, acceptance, and equal rights. These experiences have shaped who I am and how I show up as a therapist. I believe everyone deserves to feel valued, respected, safe, and able to be themselves. In our work together, I hope you’ll find a place where you can bring your whole self and know that you will be met with warmth, compassion, and without judgment.
I work with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and major life changes.
My approach is person-centered, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life. I provide a warm, supportive space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and explore what matters most to you without judgment. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, deepen your understanding of yourself, and find a path forward that feels meaningful and right for you.
Women’s mental health is an important focus of my work. I draw from feminist therapy to explore how relationships, expectations, and life roles can affect emotional well-being. This can be especially helpful when navigating menopause, caregiving, aging, changing relationships, and shifts in identity. Together, we’ll make space for your needs, strengths, voice, and what matters most to you.
I also use a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes your sense of safety, trust, and choice. I understand that past experiences can shape how you feel, relate to others, and respond to challenges today. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on your strengths while creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and in control of your healing.
I believe therapy should fit the person, not the other way around. I adapt my approach to your individual needs, goals, experiences, and comfort level, drawing from different therapeutic approaches when helpful. Together, we’ll find what works best for you and adjust as your needs change, always keeping you at the center of our work.
